Words giving information about numbers, quantity, or relationships based on number and quantity. Many of these words are frequently used in word problems in arithmetic. A preposition is a word used to show the relation of a noun (or pronoun) to some other word in a sentence, such as information about location, direction, or possession. See examples →

Being (Existence)

Be can join a subject with a word or words that tell something about it. Be can also tell that somethingexists or takes place. Be can also be a linking verband a helping verb.
